Wood Stork

This woodstork (formerly known as a wood ibis) posed for me one early morning on the edge of Lake Tuscawilla in downtown Ocala FL.  They gather there in small numbers during the winter months.  This is also the lake that has been in the local news lately because of the continuing efforts to deal with the population of Muscovy ducks.  Personally I don't think they are hurting anything but there is a very vocal group that wants them eliminated.
